The classic Coromandel stag is a bach, a boat and a Saturday show - fishing all day, strip show from $350 once everyone is back and fed. The dancer arrives on her own schedule, so the day plan never bends around the entertainment.
Bigger crews split a duo at $900 and let the show own the whole evening.
Hens nights
Hens groups favour Whitianga and Hahei - beach day, shared dinner, male performer for the evening act. Every profile is picked by the group in advance, so the bride's best friend controls exactly how big the surprise gets.

Yes, routinely - Mercury Bay is a normal summer run for the Tauranga roster, not a special favour. The travel is folded into the single figure you are told when you ring, and the dancer plans her own trip around your show time.
As soon as the bach is confirmed. The nights either side of New Year are the deepest demand of the whole season, travelling performers plan those trips weeks out, and the groups that ring in November choose their dancer instead of taking whoever is left.
A lounge-sized space, a speaker the dancer can plug into, and guests who are actually there when the show starts. Baches qualify automatically - decks work too if the neighbours are far enough away.
On the Coromandel, more than anywhere - the waitressing from $288 covers the long afternoon, the show covers the night, and the one travel arrangement serves both. Most peninsula bookings pair them for exactly that reason.
